The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trim levels are listed as Work Truck (WT), Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country. According to Prescott Valley Chevrolet, regular cab models come with an 8-foot cargo bed, while Double Cabs get a 6-foot 6-inch bed. Crew cab models can choose between a 5-foot 8-inch bed or the 6-foot 6-inch bed. We’ll look at the different trim levels and see what each one offers buyers.

The Silverado 1500 WT is powered by a 4.3-liter V6 engine that makes 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The WT comes with 17-inch steel wheels, vinyl seats, rubber floor covering, a locking tailgate, power windows and door locks, air conditioning, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo system and Bluetooth.

The Silverado Custom trim starts with the features of the WT. It upgrades to the extended- or crew-cab configurations and provides an improved appearance. The Custom adds a body-color styling theme, 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED cargo bed lighting, power and heated mirrors, cloth seats, a power-locking and power-release tailgate with assisted lift, a carpeted floor, Wi-Fi capability, satellite radio, hitch guidance for the backup camera and a trailering package.

The Silverado Custom Trail Boss trim provides off-roading features, with 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, four-wheel drive, the Z71 off-road suspension package and an automatic locking rear differential.

The Silverado 1500 LT is powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 310 hp and 348 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The LT starts with the features of the Custom and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, chrome exterior trim, a heated tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and an 8-inch touchscreen.

The Silverado 1500 RST gets the features of the LT and adds 18-inch aluminum wheels, body-colored exterior trim and LED fog lights.

The Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss is equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 that puts out 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic. The LT Trail Boss gets the features of the LT, plus a heavy-duty battery, bucket front seats with a center console, and an auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

The Silverado 1500 LTZ trim provides many upscale amenities. It gets the features of the LT trim plus the 5.3-liter V8 engine, 20-inch alloy wheels, a power-sliding rear window, a power tailgate, leather upholstery, bucket front seats with a center console, a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, an advanced trailering system, a trailer brake controller, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a higher-definition backup camera, front and rear parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

The range-topping High Country trim comes with a spray-in bedliner, navigation, a digital driver information display, a Bose audio system with seven speakers, lane departure warning and wireless phone charging.
