2024 Chevrolet Traverse Trim Levels

The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse, a mainstay in the mid-size SUV market, is redesigned to cater to modern families needing ample space and advanced features. With its new body, interior, engine, and a suite of safety and tech upgrades, including GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving assistant, the Traverse continues to impress customers at the Cottonwood Chevrolet dealer, thanks to its exceptional performance and versatility.

The Traverse is offered in four trims: LS, LT, RS, and Z71, each tailored to meet different driving needs and preferences. All models are powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 328 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on all models except the Z71, which comes with all-wheel drive. The other trims get all-wheel drive as an option. According to the Cottonwood Chevrolet dealership, the Traverse seats up to eight passengers.

    2024 Chevrolet Traverse LS
    The base LS trim combines practicality and modern amenities. Standard features include manually adjustable front seats and manually folding second and third rows. Comfort is enhanced with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a push-button starter. The exterior includes power heated side mirrors, LED headlights, and a hands-free power liftgate. The LS comes with an 11-inch digital driver information display and a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Google built-in.

    The LS trim includes a long list of standard safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a follow-distance indicator. It also boasts blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

    2024 Chevrolet Traverse LT
    Building on the LS trim, the LT offers additional comfort and convenience features. It includes an eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar support, second-row captain’s chairs, and a wireless phone charging pad. The LT also comes with express up/down power windows, a 120-volt outlet, and black roof rails.
    The LT trim enhances the driving experience with options like the Enhanced Driving Package, which adds an automatic parking assistant, Super Cruise hands-free driving, and a driver attention monitor. Other available features include 20-inch dark gray alloy wheels, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, seating for eight passengers, and a Trailering Package with Hitch View and Hitch Guidance.

    2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71
    The Z71 trim is designed for those who seek adventure and off-road capability. It starts with the features of the LT and adds 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, an off-road suspension with an additional one-inch lift, exclusive shock absorbers with hydraulic rebound, advanced twin-clutch all-wheel drive, multiple terrain modes, underbody skid plates, and hill descent control. Other standard features include gloss black roof rails and the Trailering Package. Options include a power sunroof, the Enhanced Driving Package, and a Bose premium audio system.

    2024 Chevrolet Traverse RS
    The RS trim is the pinnacle of luxury and technology in the Traverse lineup. It adds to the features of the LT with 22-inch alloy wheels, active noise cancellation, ambient interior lighting, premium black leather seating with red accents, power-folding side mirrors, a rear camera mirror, a power tilt/telescoping flat-bottom steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The RS also includes ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, one-touch folding second-row captain’s chairs, a power-folding third-row seat, the Enhanced Driving Package, and the Bose audio system.
