2021 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale Near Page
The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse is a three-row family SUV that seats eight passengers with plenty of room to spare. It’s larger than competing SUVs and rewards buyers with a total cargo volume of 98.2 cubic feet. Buyers at the Chevrolet dealer serving Page appreciate that the 2021 Traverse has a starting price that’s less than most rivals.
Visit the Page Chevrolet dealer, and you’ll find the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse in seven trim levels: L, LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier and High Country. The Traverse is motivated by a 3.6-liter V6 engine generating 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all trims except the base L get available all-wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive system provides excellent traction for drivers who must negotiate snowy, icy or wet road surfaces. The High Country trim features a dual-clutch transfer system that can automatically modify the level of torque sent to each rear wheel, providing even more protection from slippage.
The Traverse gets fuel economy rated by the EPA at 18 mpg city/27 mpg highway with front-wheel drive.* With all-wheel drive, the Traverse returns 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway.
Motor Trend wrote: “The Chevrolet Traverse flies further under the radar than most mid-size three-row crossovers, but that doesn't mean it has little to offer families. Along with a quiet ride, it boasts sharp handling and more cargo space than its competitors—mostly because it's huge. (And buyers looking to haul people and cargo will never turn down more space.)”
Standard features on the base Traverse L trim include 18-inch alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated outside mirrors, cloth upholstery, keyless open and start, automatic headlights, an HD rearview camera, cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
At the top of the range, the Traverse High Country comes with a panoramic sunroof, a power-folding third-row seat, enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and several trailer enhancements.
Drivers with infants and small children will welcome the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse’s standard Smart Slide second-row seat. Since midsize SUVs are popular with families, many owners install a safety seat in the second row. This makes it hard for passengers to get into and out of the third row. The Smart Slide feature lets the right captain’s chair or the right side of the bench slide and tilt forward, even with an empty child-safety seat installed.
As of this writing, the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse has yet to be tested by the IIHS and the NHTSA. However, we expect the results to be identical to those of last year. The 2020 Traverse received the highest rating of Good by the IIHS for all crash tests and the top score of five stars by the NHTSA for overall safety.
