2021 Chevrolet Tahoe Trim Levels
The 2021 Tahoe is available in six trim levels: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier and High Country. All models other than the High Country are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that develops 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The range-topping High Country trim is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. All models except the Z71 get an available 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine that puts out 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. According to the Prescott Valley Chevrolet dealership, rear-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, except in the Z71, which gets standard all-wheel drive. The other trims get available AWD.
Chevrolet Tahoe LS
The base Chevrolet Tahoe LS trim is the only trim level that can seat nine with the optional front-row bench. Standard features include 18-inch wheels, a mechanical limited-slip differential, premium cloth seating, tri-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, remote engine start, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Infotainment 3 Plus system comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD Radio, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and six USB ports.
Advanced safety features that come standard include forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a following distance indicator, a rear-seat reminder, rear parking sensors, and GM’s Teen Driver system.
Chevrolet Tahoe LT
The LT trim adds a limited-slip rear differential, heated 10-way power adjustable leather front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, a hands-free power liftgate, and wireless device charging.
Chevrolet Tahoe RST
Move up to the RST trim, and you’ll get 22-inch wheels, unique RST seats with contrasting stitching, an exclusive front fascia, and black exterior trim.
Chevrolet Tahoe Z71
The Z71 trim gets a unique front fascia that provides a better approach angle. Standard features include a premium suspension, a two-speed transfer case, all-terrain tires, hill descent control, a heavy-duty air filter and a front skid plate.
Chevrolet Tahoe Premier
The Premier gets larger alloy wheels, perforated leather upholstery, ventilated 12-way power-adjustable front seats, second-row bucket seats, a safety alert seat, a navigation system, an 8-inch digital instrument panel, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, a blind-spot monitor and lane keeping assist.
Chevrolet Tahoe High Country
The top-of-the-line High Country trim is equipped with an adaptive air suspension, Magnetic Ride Control, an exclusive grille with bronze accents, a rear camera mirror, a 15-inch head-up display, a surround-view parking camera system, a rear pedestrian alert system, and a surround-view parking camera system.
