The 2021 Cadillac Escalade gets a new independent rear suspension that provides an even smoother ride than the outgoing model. There’s more interior space, especially in the second and third rows. The Escalade gets new technology gear, including an attractive display that stretches across the dash, as well as Cadillac’s Super Cruise, which is one of the best semi-automated vehicle systems available today.

Car and Driver wrote: “The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will mark the model's fifth generation and this new one looks to be head and shoulders above the original in terms of luxury, style, and technology. Borrowing elements from the Escala concept car from 2016, the new Escalade offers visual panache worthy of its price tag.
One of the most striking aspects of the Escalade’s redesign is its interior. It’s completely up to date and even more sophisticated than last year’s model. The display consists of three OLED units, the first time this type of screen has been used in a vehicle. Drivers can use the touchscreen or a dial controller located on the center console.
All the seats are comfortable and supportive, and buyers can choose the optional entertainment screens for the seatbacks. The screens can display the usual media types, and they can also broadcast audio to the cabin, send directions to the navigation system, and share content with the other screens.
The 2021 Escalade’s cutting-edge technology includes an augmented reality overlay for the navigation system. As the driver nears a turn, the system displays a live view of the road with animated arrows that point out the right way to go. Available features include a night vision camera and a refrigerator in the center console.
Standard features in the base Luxury trim include leather upholstery, keyless ignition and remote start, tri-zone climate control, heated front and rear outboard seats, a 16.9-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and front and rear parking sensors.
Music lovers will appreciate the Escalade’s standard 19-speaker AKG premium audio system that includes microphones placed in the cabin that easily allow passengers in the front and rear to talk to each other. Buyers can upgrade this audio setup to a 36-speaker system.
