The 2020 Chevrolet Trax seats five passengers and comes in three trim levels: LS, LT and Premier. All models are powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that’s good for 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and all-wheel drive is optional. Whichever trim level you choose, you can be sure to get outstanding fuel economy. The entry-level Trax LS includes 16-inch steel wheels (alloys for AWD models), cloth upholstery, power-adjustable side mirrors, driver power lumbar, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, automatic headlights, keyless entry, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, air conditioning and a rearview camera. Tech features that come standard include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an audio system with six speakers, Bluetooth, OnStar with a Wi-Fi hotspot, and two USB ports.

Move up to the LT, and you’ll get heated mirrors, upgraded headlights and LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, remote start, updated cloth upholstery, roof rails, cruise control, satellite radio and an AC outlet in the rear. Front-wheel-drive Trax LT models come with alloy wheels.

Buyers can customize the Trax LT with option packages. The LT Convenience package adds premium cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, synthetic leather inserts, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and keyless ignition and entry. The Driver Confidence package includes rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The Sun and Sound package gets a seven-speaker Bose premium audio setup and a sunroof. The Redline Edition comes with black exterior accents, red accent stripes and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The top-line Premier trim includes the above option packages except for the Redline Edition. Standard features include 18-inch wheels, faux leather seats, an auto-dimming mirror, heated front seats, fog lights, forward collision warning and lane departure warning.
