2020 Chevrolet Colorado Trim Levels
If you’ve been searching for a pickup with lots of power for towing and hauling, but you don’t want the size, weight or expense of a full-size truck, you’ll love the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado. This midsize pickup provides all the capability many buyers need, plus plenty of cabin space to ensure the driver and passengers can ride comfortably. When you visit a dealer like the Winslow Chevrolet dealership, you’ll be happy to discover how much the Colorado will save you compared with a full-size pickup.
Colorado Trim Levels
Buyers will find the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado in a configuration that will meet every need, from a bare-bones work truck to a comfortable daily driver. According to the Chevrolet dealer in Winslow, there are five trim levels available, listed as Base, Work Truck (WT), LT, Z71 and ZR2. The 2020 Colorado comes in extended-cab and crew-cab models, with a choice of two cargo bed sizes.
Colorado Base
The Base Colorado trim is only available as an extended cab. This trim level employs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder powerplant that makes 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows, 16-inch steel wheels, a rearview camera, vinyl upholstery, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an infotainment system with a 7-inch display, a six-speaker stereo setup and two USB ports.
Colorado Work Truck
The Colorado Work Truck gets many of the Base trim’s features but comes in both crew-cab and extended-cab models. The Base upgrades to cloth upholstery and carpeting. Options include an EZ Lift tailgate, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a remote locking tailgate, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and OnStar.
The Work Truck and higher trims have two available engines: a 3.6-liter V6 generating 308 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque that’s teamed to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, and a turbocharged 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine good for 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque that’s matched with a six-speed automatic. Fuel economy for the diesel engine is exceptional, with an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city/30 mpg highway for models with rear-wheel drive.*
Colorado LT
Step up to the Colorado LT, and you’ll get a leather-wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel, 17-inch alloys, an 8-inch touchscreen, satellite radio and additional USB ports. Options include a lane departure warning, a forward collision system, automatic climate control and heated front seats. An upgraded stereo system and navigation are available in the LT and higher trims.
Colorado Z71
The Z71 is designed for off-roading. Buyers will get most of the LT trim’s optional features, as well as a locking rear differential, all-terrain tires, an off-road-oriented suspension, hill descent control and exclusive upholstery.
Colorado ZR2
The Colorado ZR-2 takes off-roading to a higher level. It comes with a raised suspension with exclusive dampers, larger all-terrain tires, an electronically locking rear differential, fender flares, unique front and rear bumpers and a spray-in bedliner. The diesel engine is optional.
